Depending on the type of fare you purchased, the airline may require you to pay a fee to bring checked or carry-on luggage.
Right now, Hopper can't accept payment for additional luggage pieces. If you'd like to pay for luggage pieces in advance, here's how you can do it:
- Manage your booking on the airline's website: In the Hopper trip confirmation (under the trips tab), you'll see the airline confirmation code next to the Hopper confirmation code. If the airline has online booking management tools, you can log in using their confirmation code, and follow the instructions on their website to pre-pay for luggage.
- Call the airline: Using the same airline confirmation code, you can give the airline you'll be flying with a phone call to pre-pay for additional luggage with their Support agents.
- Pay at the airport: Arrive at the airport with lots of time to pay for and check your luggage at the airport's check-in desk. Please note that sometimes airlines do charge higher fees if you pay for your checked luggage on the day of your departure. Visit the airline you're flying with's website for more information on their checked baggage fee rules.
